Welcome Claire Art to Pink Coral Skin Indulgence

Corinne Hill (Treska) is a contemporary acrylic abstract artist who grew up in the Tremont area.  She now lives and works in the small town of Seville.  Her colorful paintings and coasters pay homage to her colorful life growing up with fourteen siblings.  Her distinctive style emanates joy through the use of bright blended colors.  They express her vibrant spirit and style.

In her work you see intense colors and distinctive patterns all brought together in bold compositions.  Some are of the beautiful, picturesque ocean seascapes and the depiction of nature are from memories of family scenic vacations taken as a child and now.  She always uses her unique intuition in her work and creates from her vivid imagination!  Vibrant colors drive her art.  The artist continues to communicate deep meaning through her work.

As a child she enjoyed creating art and always had a unique talent.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Endorsement in Art Education.  She has taught Elementary Art Education for 30 years in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Throughout her career, many of her students have won awards and gone on to seek higher levels of instruction in art.  Surprisingly, the artist had more time during the covid pandemic to really work on her own art.  She continues to create in her own home and recently started displaying her work around the Cleveland area.

The artist’s intention is always to encourage people to see color in a new way.  She wants art to evoke emotions the viewer may have never experienced - colors that please the eye and heart.  She wishes to captivate a new attention to color.  The element of color continues to drive her work.  She really wants to delight the viewer and let them experience joy and wonder!
